Terms of Service

The rules and responsibilities for using Granrojo to create, build, and share projects.

1. Using Granrojo

These Terms govern your use of Granrojo, including its browser IDE, project storage, AI assistance, build and hardware tools, published projects, and community features. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. Questions about these Terms can be sent to the Granrojo team at contact@granrojo.com.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and meet the minimum age requirements where you live. If you have not reached the age of majority, use the service only with a parent or legal guardian’s permission and supervision, where local law allows. If you use Granrojo for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf.

Provide accurate account information, complete required verification, and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate others or use another person’s account without permission.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in the code, designs, notes, files, and other content you provide. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload, process, and publish that content, including any personal information or third-party materials it contains.

You grant Granrojo permission to store, copy, process, and display your content as needed to provide the features you use, including version history, builds, AI assistance, and publishing. This permission is limited to operating and delivering the service and does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Third-party code, libraries, parts, media, and other materials remain subject to their own licenses. You are responsible for complying with those licenses, including attribution and redistribution requirements.

4. Publishing and community use

New projects start unpublished. When you publish, you authorize Granrojo to make the selected revision and associated published content available to the public, including source viewing and the service’s download and fork features. Do not publish credentials, confidential material, or other people’s personal information without an appropriate basis.

Other users may view and copy published material through those features, subject to the rights and licenses attached to it. Publishing alone does not remove copyright or third-party license requirements. Include an appropriate license if you want to grant broader reuse rights.

You can unpublish or delete your own projects using the available controls. Copies, forks, downloads, and caches already held by others may remain. Community posts and comments must respect other users and their rights.

5. AI assistance

AI features process prompts and relevant project context using external model services as described in the Privacy Policy. Use them only with information you are permitted to share for that purpose.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or similar to material produced for other users. Review and test generated code, wiring, and instructions before relying on them, publishing them, or running them on hardware. We do not guarantee that output is unique, correct, or free of third-party rights.

6. Hardware and project safety

Building, flashing, or running a project can change the behavior of a physical device. You are responsible for checking board selection, firmware, wiring, voltage, power limits, and the device manufacturer’s instructions before use. Keep suitable backups and use a safe test environment.

Granrojo does not certify community projects for safety-critical use. Do not rely on unverified code or diagrams in situations where a failure could cause injury, property damage, or environmental harm. Only connect to devices and networks you own or are authorized to use.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to distribute unlawful or infringing content, harass others, expose private information, deliver malware, steal credentials, or carry out unauthorized surveillance or attacks.

Do not create, share, or facilitate non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated or altered sexual images of a person without their consent.

Do not bypass access controls or usage limits, access another user’s unpublished content, disrupt the service, or misuse build, AI, storage, or hosting resources. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to our contact address and avoid accessing or altering other users’ information.

8. Third-party services and projects

Sign-in providers, AI providers, libraries, hardware tools, external websites, and user-published applications may have their own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for reviewing those terms when choosing to use them.

Community content and published applications are created by their authors. Their availability on Granrojo is not an endorsement or a guarantee of their quality, safety, or accuracy. Grant browser or hardware permissions only to projects you trust.

9. Availability and account restrictions

Features, supported devices, quotas, and availability may change. We may limit or suspend access or remove content when reasonably necessary to address violations, abuse, security issues, legal obligations, or risks to the service or other users. Contact us if you believe a restriction was applied in error.

You may stop using the service at any time and contact us to request account closure. Keep your own copies of work you need. Storage, builds, model responses, or hosting may be interrupted, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or indefinite retention of content.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without guarantees that it will meet every requirement, be error-free, or produce a particular result. You remain responsible for your content and for reviewing the results of your use of the service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Granrojo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights, remedies, or other protections that apply to you.

11. Changes, questions, and disputes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest revision, and we will provide additional notice where required by law. Changes apply prospectively. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the service and contact us about closing your account.

For questions, content complaints, or a dispute about the service, email contact@granrojo.com with enough detail for us to investigate. These Terms do not restrict any right you have under applicable law to contact a regulator or seek a remedy in a competent court.
